How To Tell Great Stories In Video

When we think about creating videos, there are two common things we can think of…
Educational and entertaining videos.
That’s what we know and thats how we also do it.
The problem is, after creating all those videos, getting all the equipments ready, spending a ton of time shooting it, editing it and lastly posting it, most people get puzzled because the video is not performing they want and expecting it.
It’s not the content that is causing it, but the structure how it was made.
Facts tell, stories sell.
This is an ancient quote that most of us know.
The more we tell facts the more they resist.
On the other hand, when we tell stories, the more people will lean towards you and listen to it.
People love to hear stories, I mean Great stories.
It is a cardinal rule when creating videos is to sell your idea and let the viewer feel what you what to convey.
And you cannot do that by just telling the facts and creating how to’s or DIY videos.
When telling stories, there are three (3) parts that blockbuster movies follows.
- Life is Good
- Life turns Black
- How You Overcame that struggles
And lastly, the most important thing that should be done in every part that were mentioned is this one thing that we are going to talk about in this episode.
