MUST DO IN OKANAGAN VALLEY
Travel is fun if it’s unplanned!
One night, Michelle and I were having a conversation before going to bed. She was telling me that she want to do something different that we haven’t tried yet. So I came up with an idea to hit the road the next day with one location in mind, Okanagan Valley.
Kelowna is the primary city in Okanagan Valley. A place that is very closed to my heart. Without any hesitation, she just agreed to my idea and ask, “so, what time are we leaving tomorrow then?”. My response was, “let’s leave 4am in the morning”. So the alarm rang exactly to what the time she set it up. Instead of getting ourselves ready to leave, I told her, “can we take 5 more minutes?”. The next thing I remembered upon waking up was, it’s already 8 o’clock in the morning!
Aside from the extra 2-3 clothes we have in her bag, here’s what we brought with us:
- My minimalist camera bag (my main camera, drone, tripod and gimbal)
- A cooler (to store our cold water and pop)
- 2 Foldable Coleman Chairs
- Couple of blankets (to block the sun raise)
- A Waterproof Picnic Blanket Mat
With a couple of stuff, we hit the road around 9am heading North East of Vancouver. We stopped by in the City of Chilliwack to fill up our tank.
What you are watching right now is the third stop of our little getaway. (You can watch the first and second stop of our travel here and here).
