Photographers: Quick Tips On How To Increase Your Price
“Photographers usually want to photograph facts and things. But I’m interested in the nature of the thing itself. A photograph of someone sleeping tells me nothing about their dream state; a photograph of a corpse tells me nothing about the nature of death. My work is about my life as an event, and I find myself to be very temporal, transient.” – Duane Michals
In photography, especially in this digital world, competition is high. But you can be a perfect client choice if these two tips for photographers are not taken for granted.
I know some photographers who are also selling or charging a client per photo. While this is not bad, you may not be able to earn more profit out of it.
What I can suggest is to charge the client per package. The customers won’t mind about the price if you know how to present it.
Remember that it is not about the work that you are doing. It’s about how you present and deliver the work.
So, instead of focusing on how you can sell, think about what you can offer and present it with great value.
Make it look huge and impress your client with your talent and skills. That’s where you can start increasing the perceived value that you deserve.
