REAL STRUGGLES: Reasons Why You Should Never Ever Give Up

If there is no struggles, there is no progress.

There may be a hundred excuses you keep finding without intentionally looking for them that you should give up, but should you let those excuses get to you? No, because it might all be in your head only. One of many guesses why you are reading this article is because you have something you need to accomplish or achieve but can not find enough reasons why giving up is not a better option. Well, giving up is never a good option. Why? Because;

1. Giving up is easier than carrying on

Most people give up on their small dreams which can actually change their lives. For example; You might have been trying to put up that piece of poetry you wrote in your school newspaper, but keep thinking that people will make fun of you? or that your work is not worthy enough of getting published? Well, people only let you down when they see you doing something they can never do. You might have the talent and potential of becoming a great poet, this can only be achieved if you don’t give up. This criticism is exactly why you should keep going and prove them wrong.

2. Nothing worthwhile comes easy

It is true that nothing valuable come easy. Have you been thinking about becoming a YouTuber but cannot get yourself to start that channel? Think about how your favourite Youtubers made it to the top, they started at point zero like you as well. Do you think they achieved so much fame and money overnight? No! Following your dreams and goals is never easy. Accomplishing something takes effort and if you quit before you even put up all the effort, you will never have something to be proud of.

3. Hardships are important

It is difficult to stay consistent with your goals when you keep hitting hurdles and obstacles. But remember that hardships and failures are important to shape you for what lies on the other side of your hard work. It prepares you to finally be able to taste the success you worked so hard for.

4. If others can do it, so can you

James Cameron was not born with the direction of the Titanic wrapped in his palm. He spent endless days writing that script to finally direct it and look where his talent got him. What do you think would have happened if he gave up while he was exploring the deep seas? The world would not have such a masterpiece. If he can become a filmmaker, so can you. All it takes is effort, consistency and your will.

5. Failing once cannot decide your future

You may have failed countless times while trying to get enough money for that camera you wanted to buy, but does that mean you should stop? No! Because failing does not mean you can never achieve something. You decide your future with your actions. At one point, you might find yourself thinking that you should stop trying to save so much money for the camera, but what if all you need is ten dollars more to be able to buy that? Think again before you quit too early.

6. Quitting means you lost

If you quit already it means you have lost already. If you keep going, who knows you might succeed sooner than you think? Do not lose the game before you even play it.

7. If not your dreams, what are you fighting for?

Where is all the fun in life if you give up your dreams? You need a motive in order to get somewhere. But if you give up your eternal dream of becoming a blogger, what are you really living for? Try again before you give it all up.

8. There is always a way out.

Do you feel like you have tried it all? The answer is always no if you have not succeeded yet. One minor possibility you keep missing out might be all you need. Keep looking before you give up. Rethink, focus and assess endlessly until you detect the error.

9. Struggling is part of the process.

Struggling can last two days or five years depending on your efforts and consistency. Nevertheless, it is important and part of the process. Don’t you think it will be weird if everything is served to you in a plate without working for it? Think bigger. Everything is possible if you believe in yourself.

10. Consider reality before you quit

It is entirely a crazy fantasy if you want to succeed in a week. Things do not happen too quick when they are worth something. Base your struggles on ground realities. If becoming a fantastic content creator was easy, everyone would do it. The road to success gets shorter with each step you take forward.

11. You have underestimated yourself

Sometimes, our mind messes with us. We do not need others to tell us that we can not do it. We tell that to ourselves without the others even bothering. Underestimating yourself becomes a habit when you have faced too many hurdles and failed attempts. But we do not realize that failure is actually a positive thing because it keeps pushing us towards perfection.

If you need a reason to keep going on, think of why you started dreaming about it in the first place. You wanted to do it, right?

Then do it!

Excuses and criticism mean nothing if your will is stronger. If you find a million reasons to give up, you can find a billion reasons to keep moving forward as well. It is all up to what you decide.
